The King

The King penguin lives on the Arctic Islands.

It is the second largest penguin species. The emperor is the largest.

It has a very long, orange beak and an orange collar around its neck.

It has a sleeker body and bigger flippers than the other penguins.

The King penguin lays eggs every other year.

The chicks grow a warm, brown fuzzy layer of down feathers.
