The Macaroni

The Macaroni penguin lives in the South Georgia Islands.

In the song "Yankee Doodle Dandy" when they say

"stuck a feather in his hat and called it macaroni"

is for the Macaroni penguin.

It makes a nest out of pebbles and lays two eggs.
