Second Grade Daily Homework

                    Boys and girls will write their homework daily in their agendas.

Homework assignments on a regular basis will be:

                   

                     Monday                           Read 15-20 minutes/log  & parent signature on log

                                              Math – sheet, activity, or game

                                                                Skills Book- ( Editing and Proofreading practice)

                                              Mind Benders

Tuesday                           Read 15-20 minutes ( NO LOG)

                                                                        Student response in reading journal                        

                                               Math – sheet, activity, or game

                                                 Mind Benders

                                                       

                   Wednesday                      Read 15-20 minutes/log & parent signature on log

                                              Math – sheet, activity, or game

                                              Writing in Thought's Journal- 10 minutes

                                              Mind Benders

                                               

                Thursday                       Read 15-20 min/log & parent signature on log

                                                  - Parent response in reading journal

                                              Math – Practice with Number facts

                                              Skills Book- Editing and Proofreading Practice

                                              Mind Benders- due tomorrow!

 

                               Friday                        Friday Folders- dated and signed by parent and child    

 

 

 

If we work on a long term project, have a shortened week, or some kind of theme related activity going on homework may be altered. Spanish Homework is posted on Mrs. Driscoll’s web site, but time is given in class to complete.
