Short Hills students have the opportunity to experience Broadway-style musical theatre right here at school. Twice each year, students in grades 3-5 perform in a play for the entire community. These students commit over 30 hours to after school rehearsals in order to present a polished performance to their friends and families.

In order to accomodate as many students as possilbe while still providing a meaningful learning opportunity, interested students are assigned to either the Fall Cast or the Spring Cast at the start of the school year. The Fall Cast begins rehearsals in September and performs in December. The Spring Cast begins rehearsals in March and performs in May.
