Analyse results of your gel. Remember the PCR primers add about 200 nucleotides to the length of your cDNA insert.. To get the final size of the insert you need to substract off 200 bases from your PCR fragment length.
You must put the slide in a ppt and correctly annotate your insert size and the ladder. See the ladder annotation slide link abovel
